The 2nd Amendment was not an after-thought by our Founding Fathers. They knew that without it, our Constitution was just another piece of paper that any future Administration could and would simply trample on. The 2nd Amendment is what gives the power to the people. What the idiots in Washington don't seem to realize is that the 100 million gun owners in this Great Country are the largest army of Freedom Fighters in the world. They will have to take mine "From my cold dead hands."
